Melanie Childers leads the Fund Administration and Operations team within GuideStone Capital Management, LLC, and manages the day-to-day operational aspects of the advisory portion of the business, including work associated with GuideStone Funds. In this capacity, Ms. Childers oversees all third-party providers, such as the fund administrator, fund accountant, transfer agent, custodian and securities lending agent. She also supervises the establishment and maintenance of third-party platform and intermediary relationships and maintains ultimate responsibility for SEC filings coordinated by the department, while also providing leadership and direction regarding the various boards to which GuideStone reports.
Ms. Childers joined GuideStone in 1997. Prior to assuming her responsibilities at GuideStone, Ms. Childers served as an Account Manager at Fidelity Investments, where she supported the client relationship function for several large retirement plans. Since coming to GuideStone, she has held a variety of positions in both Relationship Management and Fund Operations, each with increasing levels of responsibility.
Ms. Childers holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from Baylor University.
